Took a leave on 18th Aug, flew down to Alor Star with 8.30 am flight with Shima.
Akad ceremony was held the same day after Asar. Mar took us for a tour around Alor Star at nite. We had the best Laksa Penang & Keuy teow Sup ever at City Plaza!Wedding was held the next day. The accompanying bridesmaid (pengapit) are our very own Cik Shima & En Dwen.Shortly after the merenjis ceremony, we went to Padang Besar..(ecece...sempat lagi tu)!
A big thank you to Dwen for driving us around and for doing the honour of being our F1 driver to the airport. Turns out that the flight was delayed another 50 mins!!!

We had a little get together for ourselves to celebrate Shima's birthday. Little did we know that Cord and Nida had already bought a lovely yummy cake for all of us. We had pizzas and spaghettis.

Sharifah Sarah's Akad Nikah Ceremony
|
|
Our beloved Sarah is now officially known as Mrs Anuar. She is wedded to Anuar on 10th November, 9 pm at her parent's house in USJ.It was drizzling when we arrived but the ceremony went well Alhamdulillah. We love the setting, the theme and the food! (I love her dress and her make-up as well!)Both of the newlyweds couldn't stop smilling after akad. It seemed that Anuar could not let her go out of his sight *winks*
The funny thing was, Sarah's bro approached us and said
"Eh, I remember u girls, yang menangis masa hantar Sarah kat airport tu kan.."
Adoi...I thought no one remembered that.
I didn't have the picture where all of us posed with the bride & groom.We shall wait for one, taken with Mar's camera (bile nak upload ek cik kak?)
Also,we get to meet Sarah's very own Sweet Jua from Newcastle who came back to Malaysia for the ceremony.

Jalan-Jalan Jakarta ( 5th - 7th Aug )

Yes, finally!....The four of us managed to plan something workable..hehe. This was rombongan Cik Sha to Jakarta.
Day 1
Arrived around 12.40pm (Jakarta is 1 hour ealier than M'sia). Checked-in Acacia Hotel. Then, we headed to ITC Cempaka Mas.
Day 2
Got up early for our trip to Bandung. It is approximately 2 1/2 hrs drive from Jakarta. Went to a street where there are selling shoes everywhere. Stopped by at Cihampelas Walk. Bought a few items from a factory outlet. Darn good bargain! You can get many branded items for a cheaper price.And no, you couldn't find this sort of bargain anywhere in M'sia. We arrived back Jakarta at 7.30pm. The driver dropped us off at ITC Cempaka Mas again...hehe..
Day 3
Went to Pasar Senen besides Plaza Atrium. Diyana's last stop as she's going back early. Sha's father & her other 2 sis went back Malaysia as well. We stayed for another day. Checked-out Hotel Acacia & went to spend a night in Jakarta Selatan. We went to a nice restaurant which served Nasi Sunda. Nice...yum yum. We headed to the textile shops later on.
Day 4
Went to textile shop again. Being brought to Tanah Abang. Very-very crowded but we bought cheap telekungs here. We head back for Malaysia in the evening.
